GMI conducts  comprehensive hotel searches our database of over 200,000 hotels, suppliers, and destinations worldwide. Our planners use it to search for and compare venues and destinations, as well as to find group promotions. Selection options are provided are based on client direction concerning destination, service levels and budget. GMI also submits a comprehensive response report including hotel availability, room rates and general comments. Upon client review and hotel selection, GMI negotiates the contract leveraging our buying power and by applying key terms and conditions.

GMI tracks all appropriate venue data (including rate history and benchmark data) using an industry standard e-RFP system. Global Meetings & Incentives dramatically streamlines site selection and management processes. All GMI Project Managers have significant experience in event site selection.

Our experienced staff are proven negotiators, sourcing and booking over 400 events annually. We utilize proprietary data coupled with market intelligence to measure and benchmark proposals to ensure the best value for the options
presented. We leverage total volume and meeting spend to mitigate damages by off-setting attrition/cancellation fees with other meetings from your program.
